Moisture Is Helping Us

We can see the damage done. The Moisture is revealing mold and damage to the structure of the floor, walls, and etc. So we have to take extra precautions for safety reasons to make sure the bathroom is safe. The mold maybe the reason the senior is getting sick very often. We will call ASAP a mold removal specialist.

Major damage too. No problem. The Mold is removed but the damage is the floor and dry wall has water damage. So we will continue!

The Sink Needs to Be Replaced Too

Not a problem sometimes our seniors citizens just do not have the means of fixing or cleaning up their homes. In this case the client already insured us that this NOT the way they live but are no longer able to keep up with the maintenance. A couple of repairs to add to the list. Our seniors' families really neglect them and we walk in to assist and help when no one else will. Since we protect the privacy of our clients we never exposed or reveal their names. In the past, when we did reveal the name--family members of the senior citizen would prevent us form doing the work. Months later nothing has been. So to get the job done most family members do not care if the name is not reveal. I guess they do not want any one to know they are not taking care of the seniors. We will suggest to DHS (Department of Human Resources) to help maintain the home with social worker.

Be cautious with deep snow - You must remove the snow when the ground is lightly covered. This will reduce the accumulation of packed, heavy snow. Instead of lifting the snow, just push it. But if lifting it is necessary, do not overload the shovel. And when the snow is deep already, remove it in layers.

Always stay hydrated - When you go out to shovel, drink a bottle of water. After that, drink regularly so you don't become dehydrated. Avoid overexerting as well. This means that you have to take breaks often. You can go indoors to warm up. And if you feel any pressure or pain in your chest, immediately call your doctor.

We at Concrete Faith illustrated (CFI) is on determined mission to fix up as many senior citizen homes. Youth Avengers is the agent doing all the constructive work. CFI is a non profit organization specializing in technology but now has evolved in the home renovation service. So many of our seniors cannot get help for several reasons:

Income to high. Retired working at well known factories but do not have enough income to fix their homes. Do not qualify for any programs. In super high tax brackets
Income too low. Cannot afford the price
Family, friends, and etc. will not help
Embarrassed because of privacy invasion of the deterioration of home

"Our volunteers do the job with your privacy at heart. No need to worry about friends, family, or the public to know what condition your home is in. It's none of their business."

Our plan is to explore and find resolutions to several properties in Benton Harbor, MI. CFI wants to first "give back" to the local community and expand and grow beyond measure.
